I am an extremely special boy and despite my rough start in life, I have come out of my shell and just love my humans and pack. I will happily follow you around and in typical shepherd fashion, I need to be there at your beck and call. I have learnt that humans mean a kind touch now and meet people with more confidence, you just have to give me a little time.
I will need someone who can take it slowly with me as I can still be timid around new things but my trust is gaining. Another dog or family that can spend time with me will keep that developing and keep my personality shining. I am not quite sure of my boisterous foster siblings play so I stay out of the way. I love to sit by my foster mum's chair when she is working from home and just sleep or watch her work.
My foster dad says I am a schooner sized sheppie, being only 23kgs for a male shepherd. Despite my small size, I am told I have a beautiful personality and I get excited when you come home - I can sing the song of my people with the rest of my sheppie foster siblings.
I am a gentleman (when relaxed I often cross my paws) and toilet trained. I sleep in my foster parents bedroom and will only wake you if I has to go to bathroom. I currently live with 3 dogs, cats, sheep, horses and poultry. I watch them but have not chased however, all animals are kept fairly separate. I love going for walks on my foster family's property and will follow the quad bike for their runs. I am not fussed on the noise, so will follow at my own distance but I still want to be part of the action. I will watch his foster siblings play in water as that particular trait is not one I wants to engage in yet.
I like to travel in the car but I am not as confident in a crate on back of ute.I just want to go on adventures with you.I love cheese and have become partial to pizza. My foster parents have started sit etc now that I am more relaxed and I am smart and will be easy to continue my obedience.
My foster Mum is warning my new family that she will be ugly crying when I leave but she knows that I will worm my way into anyone's heart.
