About Megs
Meet Megs, a female, chihuahua x pug, the sweetest little canine gem who's searching for a loving family to join. This bundle of happiness is full of affection and radiates positivity, transforming every setting into a warm and happy place. Megs takes joy in the company of her human companions and enjoys bringing smiles to everyone around her.
You’ll be quick to notice Megs' energetic and outgoing nature. She's an independent explorative spirit, always on the prowl for new experiences, especially when something catches her eye during playtime. Megs is great with cats, and while she still needs a bit more lead training for outdoor adventures, she has shown excellent progress and is incredibly receptive to continued instruction.
Megs cherishes attention and adores getting patted, making her a delight to be around. Nothing would give Megs more pleasure than stretching out next to you after a long day of play for some good old belly rubs and a dose of love and affection.
With Megs around, her new family can look forward to the perkiest of greetings at the end of the day, not to mention the heart-warming sight of this happy-go-lucky pup trotting around the yard or through the house. Her charm can light up any room and her loyalty can win over any heart!
Looking for a sweet, affectionate and outgoing fur-friend? Look no further, Megs could be the perfect companion you've been waiting for!
Medical notes
Megs has passed her medical.
Megs came to us with what looked like scaring on her head. Under further investigation and vet visits we took a sample.
Results are as follows:
Dermoid cysts are rare lesions, usually seen in young dogs, and are generally regarded as developmental anomalies in which the skin surface is reduplicated. The lesions on Megs are benign in nature.
If you are interested in Megs we can send you the full report.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
