Penny

Loving and loyal, dainty Chihuahua Penny, is a little girl who will melt your heart.
At 7 ½ years old, this tiny 2.5 kg darling has been through a lot in her life.
Although she started her life as her humans “baby”, unfortunately, they then went on to bring home human baby, after baby, after baby, having 7 in quick succession and Penny was pushed aside.
Unfortunately, the kids were rough with her, and she started to become defensive, and she was forced to live outside.
This broke Penny’s heart and although she was now away from the kids who were hurting her, she missed the love and care she once had.
When we were asked if Penny could come into our care, we jumped at the opportunity and we quickly all fell in love with her.
We discovered that Penny is great with other dogs and although she can be shy and unsure with new people at first, she quickly claims her humans and is completely devoted to them.
Due to Penny’s past, we will NOT be placing her in a home with children or where children are regular visitors. To place her where she will come into contact with kids would be totally irresponsible of us and totally unfair to Penny or the children. Penny needs an ADULT only home where she can live the life that she deserves and she can, once again, be somebody’s furbaby.
Penny would be an amazing companion for someone who works from home. She would be an awesome Grey Nomads dog or even a best friend for a retiree.
