About Shyla
Hello there, my name is Shyla. I’m a sweet and friendly 1 year old, blue and tan, kelpie girl. Like my name, I can be a little shy and timid, but I quickly warm up and show my full personality.
I am a happy and bouncy kelpie lass, always ready to greet you with an excited wiggle. I love my doggy pals and have enjoyed wrestling and playing chase with my young foster dog friends.
I also love people too, and am quite gentle with calm kids. I love a pat and cuddle, but I am not clingy, and will happily go adventuring round the yard by myself too. I like to be with you, but don’t make a fuss if I need to be outside by myself.
I am already very good at sitting, waiting for my dinner and happily go into and sleep quietly in my crate at night. I can get excited and be a little jumpy, but I am working on that. My recall is also very good.
I am looking for a quiet and chilled life, with some activities and fun times to entertain my brain, plus plenty of love and attention. I am quite obsessed with foster mums chickens, and will happily stare at them for hours. I have not been tested with cats or other animals.
If I sound like the girl for you, apply now! Licks, Shyla x
Shyla is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
