About Scottie
Adoption Fee: $300
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form as follows:
* From the PetRescue or SavourLife websites please click on this link: https://safe.org.au/find-a-cat/animal/byc4184/
* On the SAFE website, click on 'Apply to Adopt'.
Scottie is a fun and active young dude who loves to keep you company when you're on your computer; he's the gaming king! Or he will happily supervise all your late night Amazon purchases 😄. His foster carer has an outside enclosure which he enjoys spending time in: playing, jumping and catching some sunshine. Scottie loves to play with his best foster buddy Welby (also available to adopt) so they would make a great dynamic duo if you are considering adopting a pair of cats! Scottie would be a great addition to a home which already has cat, however he would also suit living as the only kitty with lots of snuggles from his humans.
Scottie loves his food and eats it all up. At nap time he likes to gets under your chin and make pancakes into your neck, but beware, he is also partial to a nibble on your ears 🫢
If you're after a fun kitten with lots of character then look no further than Scottie.
* If you have other pets in your home, a reminder that meeting new dogs and cats can be scary for a kitten, so a slow and gradual introduction is a must.
* Please apply by completing the SAFE application form from our website or the link above.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
When adopting a kitten under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
Albany Vet Hospital, Albany
Swans Vet Service, Esperance
Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
