About Benny
***Special Needs Cat***
Hi! My name is Benny or Benny Boop as my foster mummy calls me. As you can see I am a handsome gentleman and I do know it. I use my huge eyes and tiny, tiny ears to acquire anything that I want from my foster mummy. As you may know I am a British Shorthair and as cute as a button but what you may not know is my story. I arrived at Little Paws at only 9 weeks old, as one day I was walking around like normal and the next I was paralysed in the back legs. I still will not tell my foster mummy how this happened as it is my secret. My foster mummy and her army of foster kittens worked with me to get me from not wanting to move at all, to a butt shuffle to slowly very wobbly on my feet, to full kitten speed. I am an adult now, and a slight bit more chonky than I was as a kitten, so my speed is now a normal adult cat speed. (My foster mummy will give you all the information about my health history)
I am a happy chappy and I don’t need much to be. I am quite content with playing by myself, but also happy to interact with the household cats and the foster kittens that come through, so I can easily be an only cat or have a friend or two. I am not a huge fan of big loud noises, but I am not opposed to general noise of a busy home.
I always like to come to see the other foster carers when they come over to my foster mummys house and will come up the stairs to see how they are, and get a couple of extra pats. I will also boof at their legs if they are not paying me enough attention. I do quite like a couple of pats. I love to watch what is going on through the screen on the front door, I am a little bit of a people watcher.
If you are interested in helping Benny find his forever home you will not be disappointed with this beautiful boy.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, this is for their safety and health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you let them know if you cannot make an appointment.
