Beautiful girl!
- Rainbow is a very, very playful girl! She will play with anything she can find to play with.
- She has been great with her foster carers kids esp. their 11 month old daughter who she is very gentle with. And every now and then she sleeps on her carers 4 year old son’s bed. She will not do well in a home where children pester her.
- Rainbow loves her food and will stick to your side until you feed her.
- She isn’t a lap cat but is happy to cuddle up next to you in the couch.
- She is fine with other cats who won’t bully her and tolerates her carers large older dog but would be best suited to a home without a dog.
- Please note that Rainbow is on a special dental diet which must continue. She eats Royal Canin dental food.
If you would like to meet Rainbow, please complete the application form at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=zm1493&method=online_form_html&formid=9
Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
5 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE BUSSELTON:
- Lifetime guarantee: if you can no longer care for me, SAFE Busselton will take me back;
- Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, desex and microchip and microchip ownership transfer;
- Foster care instead of cage confinement, so I get love and socialisation;
- Speak directly with my foster carer;
- Quick response to your enquiry.
