About Forrest
Finally, it is time to find Forrest’s forever home!
Current location: QLD/Brisbane
Forest is a 4y old ex-show dog - You can see that he's been a show dog as when he walks, he proudly prances like a show horse.
We're uncertain about his technique, but in every photo captured of him, he appears larger than his true size. For a male boxer, he is quite small.
Forrest recently made headlines in BRNA after experiencing a health setback caused by ingesting a chewed plastic bottle top. Following explorative surgery, he is now in good health since the removal of the bottle top.
He is rapidly gaining weight, displaying a healthy appetite, and we are optimistic that he has overcome the challenging situation.
Forrest is such a sweet boy with the biggest smile you can imagine.
Seen he is a bit skittish, we think he would thrive in a household with a balanced dog, though it's not a requirement. In the almost two weeks he's spent with Dagmar, he has noticeably become more relaxed.
Forrest is a quick learner, and we know he will make a family very happy.
Since we cannot risk him eating something inappropriate again, we have to say No to small kids as he may steal their toys and potentially swallow them.
Also, please a backyard with no palm trees as the fruits could be tempting…
While Forrest is still in the process of learning proper house training, patience and avoiding anger will be key in helping him progress, he is a sensitive boy and thrives on praise.
Forrest would love to have someone around quite a bit, and I promise once you have him, you won't want to be without him. He is such an affectionate boy; no day goes by without hundreds of kisses.
Oh and one more VERY important thing – Forest needs to be allowed to sleep with you in your bed, it is not negotiable (we tried – and lost, he is adamant).
