Meet Rojo, the young labrador mix with possible wolfhound or wire haired short haired pointer genes, seeking a special home!

Rojo will thrive with patient and understanding owners who are committed to providing the training she needs to master the basics.

A spacious yard is a must as Rojo loves to run and play with a frisbee, ball or rope toys any toy really – and her ideal home would have another playful dog as a constant companion especially one that she can learn from. Ideally her forever home should have someone around most of the time as she likes to be your shadow and watch what you are doing around the house and the garden. A commitment to a dog companion or a few days a week at doggy day care training and ample exercise is key.

Rojo is a gentle giant, having shown no signs of reactivity she has been personally checked for compatibility with other dogs, cats and children and only showed curiosity toward the cows in the paddock next door.

Despite her size don’t forget she is just a pup at heart being only young.

Rojo is a toy enthusiast, so be ready with tough and hard-wearing toys. She is well behaved inside, toilet trained but very hesitant to use a pet door possibly due to ours being a tight fit for her, but this can be overcome with training also, Rojo has been sleeping through the night without much disturbance even if our dogs bark she usually does not follow them outside.
