About Juno
After a long and hard battle to beat Parvo, Juno (the only one of her litter to make it through) is finally ready to find her forever family.
There is clearly a reason she made it and we just know she has been sent for a very special family – now we just need to find them.
Juno is now approximately 5 months old and weighs in at about 15kg.
She is a medium-sized dog and possibly a ridgeback mix.
Introducing Juno
Little Juno came up on transport with a little fear and trepidation.
She had been bullied by her brothers and sisters and struggled to get her place at the food bowl.
She was missing fur, bearing many battle scars at such a young age.
Juno was surprised to come to a house where the food was out just for her, she approached the bowl with her tail tucked between her legs.
It didn’t last too long, once she knew that she was safe her puppy personality came through in literal leaps, bounds and scratches on the human’s ankles!
She discovered her love for toys and her love for her foster brother and sister who are small breed dogs.
But then the Parvo struck and her life was very much left hanging in the balance.
But she and her carers never gave up and after what seemed like an eternity in the doggy hospital she finally came home and got her strength back minute by minute over a few weeks.
After coming back from hospital lighter than when she came on transport, Juno has once again come ahead in leaps and bounds… literally!
She is generally good with going outside for toilet.
Doesn’t love wet paws so keep a puppy pad or two around for these rainy days.
Juno is excellent with her crate and she knows what go to bed means.
Her crate is her safe space and her chill-out zone when she gets a bit too silly for her foster siblings.
She is a genuine lover of people and other dogs however little dogs don’t know she is playing sometimes.
Best suited to a family with kids that won’t accidentally get knocked over by her (she identifies as a 7kg Poodle cross).
She does need a bit of lead training as she has been stuck at home awaiting her vaccination.
Juno has a lot of life to catch up on and she is more than ready to get started.
If you think you are the reason this precious baby beat all the odds, please get in touch – we would love to meet you.
Please do take the time to tell us all about yourself and the wonderful life Juno could share with you.
She is now fully vaccinated, chipped, and up to date with her flea and worm treatments.
Her adoption fee of $600 includes desexing at our partner vet in about 1 month.
Juno is located at Deception Bay for meets
