About Dora
Meet Dora, a pretty, confident, and friendly pup who is eagerly waiting to join a loving and patient family. Despite her being deaf, she has so much love and enthusiasm to offer. This doesn’t hold her back and with a little guidance and patience, she adapts quickly and will respond well to training.
Dora thrives in the presence of other well-balanced dogs, finding comfort and learning from their behavioural cues, which will significantly aid her adjustment to a life without sound. Therefore, her perfect family would already have a pet they've experience training, or, better yet, have personally worked with a deaf dog. Foreseeing the potential challenges with having a deaf dog, this experience would be beneficial but not required.
Dora enjoys the warmth and comfort of being inside, preferring to snuggle up rather than face the elements outside. She requires easy access indoors as she doesn’t much like being alone or left outside.
As Dora grows up, she'll need a household prepared to cater to her needs. With the right balance of socialization, training, and age-appropriate exercise, Dora will blossom into the amazing dog we know she can be. If you're new to the responsibilities of raising a puppy, puppy school is a fantastic option. It's a fun and engaging way to begin training and to help build a bond with your new pup.
Sharing a life with Dora means a future filled with games, toys, and exciting adventures—she's a ball of joy that will brighten your days with her engaging personality and loving nature. She's ready to start her new life with a dedicated family who can provide her with the care, attention, and love she deserves.
Dora is in Wagga but for the right family we will help with transport.
Medical notes
Dora is deaf but perfectly healthy otherwise.
