About Sven - Located in Bentleigh East
Hey there, cool cats and groovy humans! I'm Sven, your friendly neighborhood feline ready to rock your world! 🐱✌️
Now, my foster pad is a happening spot, let me tell ya. We've got mini-humans running amok, cats doing their thing, dogs wagging their tails like there's no tomorrow, and even rabbits adding to the mix. But you know what really gets my whiskers twitching? The dogs, baby! Those tail-waggers are my jam. You'll catch me grooving with them, rubbing myself up against their fuzzy goodness like I'm at a furry dance party!
Let's talk about my vibe, man. I'm all about spreading love and good vibes. I'm like the peacekeeper of the crew, bringing harmony wherever I go. And when it's time to boogie, count me in! I'm a playful cat, always down for a game of chase or a round of pounce. And let's not forget about the grub, my friends. Food is life, am I right? I'm a foodie through and through, always ready to chow down like it's my last meal on Earth.
So, are you ready to add a dash of funk and a whole lotta love to your life? Look no further, because Sven's the name, and spreading good vibes is my game! Let's groove together and make some memories that'll last a lifetime. Peace, love, and purrs, baby! ✌️🐾

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
