Hey there, humans! I'm Otto, the feline extraordinaire here to charm your socks off! Picture this: a big bundle of fur with a heart full of love, that's me! 😺
So, let me tell you about my journey. I waltzed into my foster home like I owned the place at a mere 7 weeks old, along with my fabulous siblings. Talk about making an entrance! From the get-go, I knew I was destined for greatness.
Now, my foster pad is a lively one. We've got tiny humans running around, cats strutting their stuff, dogs wagging their tails, and even rabbits hopping about. But fear not, I fit right in! I'm like the Swiss Army knife of pets - adaptable, versatile, and downright charming.
Let's talk personality. I'm the big kahuna of my litter, but don't let my size fool you. I'm as calm as a cucumber, purring my way through life like it's nobody's business. And oh boy, do I love to play! Whether it's chasing a feather toy or staging a grand ambush on a toy mouse, count me in!
But let's not forget the most important thing: food. Ah, glorious food! I'm a connoisseur, a gourmand, a true epicurean. You put a bowl of tasty treats in front of me, and watch me work my magic. Just don't be surprised if I ask for seconds... and thirds... and maybe even fourths. A cat's gotta eat, am I right?
Now, let's address the elephant in the room (or should I say litter box?) - my impeccable bathroom etiquette. Never in my nine lives have I had an accident. I'm like a ninja when it comes to using the litter box - swift, precise, and always leaving it spotless. You can bet your last catnip toy that I'll adjust seamlessly to my new kingdom.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
