About Tipsy
Tipsy is a unique girl with her breed mix.
Tipsy is a Maremma x Border Collie that is the size of a golden retriever.
This girl has grown up with cats and chickens. She is currently in foster care with other dogs on a rural property with horses, sheep and alpaca's. She is still learning the boundaries around the sheep & horses, but responding well to guidance and training.
Tipsy needs secure fencing to keep her contained. Currently she is sleeping in a secure pen overnight. Tipsy is toilet trained and very clean. She does not toiket in her night pen.
Tipsy can be a little aloof with people sometimes. Her recall is good once she has built her connection with her people.
Due to her breed mix Tipsy requires a rural lifestyle. She is not suitable to live in Melbourne or suburbia. Tipsy has the Maremma warning/alert bark.
Tipsy is fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated, desexed and microchipped.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
