About Dusk & Coconut
Meet Dusk and Coconut, if you've been considering welcoming an instant feline family into your life, then you'll cherish the gorgeous camaraderie these two share.
Dusk is the leader of this tandem team, with his slightly more outgoing and inquisitive nature. Meanwhile, Coconut is the shy counterpart to Dusk's outgoing spirit. Her private nature melts away once she finds her sure footing and relaxes into her surroundings, revealing her sweet demeanor to her human companions.
Both Dusk and Coconut require some time and patience as they settle into their new environment. Nervous when encountering new people and experiences, they take some time to warm up. But once they trust you, you can look forward to lifelong loyalty and companionship.
Beyond their cautious nature, both Dusk and Coconut are curious creatures intrigued by the world around them. Indoor playtimes with lots of stimulating toys, comfortable hiding spots, and soft, warm beds are a recipe for a happy life with these sweet siblings.
Dusk and Coconut flourish best in a serene home environment, away from loud noises and quick moves. They are looking for a home without children or dogs, as the quiet will allow them to explore and become comfortable at their own pace.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
