About Rocco
Meet Rocco, a four-year-old male Maremma Sheepdog mix with a calm demeanor and a heart ready to guard and protect. Rocco is a very easygoing dog who may not shower you with affection at the start, but once he gets to know you, he becomes a friendly and happy companion.
Rocco is best suited to a home where he can fulfill his genetic purpose – guarding livestock. Potential adopters should delve into researching his breed, understanding the strong protective instincts that Maremmas possess. Whether it's livestock or the household's kids and handler, Rocco will find something to protect.
This easygoing canine coexists effortlessly with other dogs, showcasing a friendly yet non-fixated attitude. Despite his size, Rocco walks well on a lead, demonstrating his easy-to-handle nature. However, his adopters should have some experience with a breed like his, given the unique characteristics of Maremma Sheepdogs.
If you're ready for a loyal and protective companion who flourishes in fulfilling his genetic instincts, Rocco is waiting to find a home where he can be the guardian he was born to be.
