About Ozark
Ozark is described by his foster family as immediately well mannered with behaviour beyond expectations for a dog coming to a new home with new people.
Ozark walks well on lead, even sits at the corners. He's interested by other dogs but does not bark, growl or pull towards them.
Ozark travels well in the car, you wouldn't even know he's there - just lays down in the boot. And by some miracle he is happy to be showered too.
Ozark loves his soft inside bed and sleeps through the night in his foster's bedroom, is able to hold on until he's taken out in the morning.
Ozark loves to play outside with his humans and does big crazy zoomies. There's no malice at all but we've found his size and boisterousness too much for young kids, it's best Ozark is adopted where any kids at 8-10+ years old. Ozark can be very gentle in his calm moments, just need to make sure you help him not get too amped up and take the play too far.
We are looking for a new home where Ozark is the only dog, as is the case for most American Bulldogs. He has had some positive interactions with the cat, when still he is totally fine with his foster sister, but if she runs he will give chase so a dog savvy cat if necessary if you have a cat.
Ozark will be the ultimate doggy companion for the right person, his fosters just and I love his big doofy head. Please submit an application or enquiry if you can give Ozark a home

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
