About Layla
Layla's new home will need to have
- A similar sized desexed male dog, (adult or senior)
- young children, as she just loves them.
- A yard for her to run around and explore.
- The opportunity to go on outings with her family. (she just loves being with you)
- Access to inside when her people are at home and to sleep inside of a night.
- The space to eat on her own, as she eats slow.
Only homes that meet the above requirements will be considered.
Layla just loves the company of her people especially the young ones (that are gentle with dogs). She is currently living with adults’ teens and toddlers and she is great with them all. Layla is happy to be around other dogs but hasn’t shown any interest in playing with them, she enjoys their company when her humans are busy. Layla doesn’t understand toys but has fun running around the yard and convincing her humans that it is time for a belly rub.
When Layla meets new people, she can be a little shy and will lower her head and approach them slowly, (this is common in cavies), but a few pats in and you are speaking her language.
Layla loves to travel in the car and walks well on the lead but does pull a little. Her obedience isn’t perfect but she is well mannered and gentle.
Layla enjoys both being inside and outside and will only be considered to a home that will allow her access to inside during the day and to sleep inside of a night, so she can be with her much loved people. She will nap on her bed inside during the day or can be found sunning herself outside on a pleasant day. She is toilet trained. It's best that Layla is fed separate to other dogs, the only reason being is she eats slow and we don’t want her to feel pressured to eat quickly.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
