Jake - 2 Year Old Labrador X (Trial)

Jake is everyone's best friend. He instantly falls in love with everyone he meets. He is the type of dog that will always be by your side. A loyal and affectionate boy, who will chill out with you and be a part of your adventures. The perfect family dog.

Jake didn't have the best start to life and is still learning that the world isn't a scary place. He can be startled by unfamiliar loud noises, but with love and reassurance, he is getting better and better every day.

Jake is a clever cookie and has picked up his basics very quickly. He already has a great sit, shakes hands like a true gent, will take himself to bed when you ask him to, is easy to bathe, fantastic in the car, can use a doggy door, is toilet trained and sleeps quietly through the night on his bed. He has also proven that he will have excellent recall. With consistent ongoing training there will be nothing this boy can't do!

Jake loves dogs and dogs love Jake! He is playful as well as being very respectful of his pals and would love to live with a doggy friend. He could however be an only dog, as long as he was a part of the family and was showered with love and affection.

Jake has also shown no interest in cats and could potentially live with a feline friend, if a proper slow introduction was made.

Jake is very well behaved when he is out and about and loves a good walk. He is also very well behaved as he hangs out with the cafe crowd making new doggy friends.

Jake has an athletic build and plays frisbee like a pro. He loves a good gallop around the yard.

Jake really is an all round sweet tempered gentle boy who would be the perfect addition to your family.

Jake's overview:
- Needs a family committed to continuing socialisation, exercise, play and walks.
- Loves humans so needs to be welcomed into the family home and share adventures.
- Needs to be an inside/outside dog with a bed inside at night.
- Fully fenced large yard with high fences.
- Jake is a medium to large dog of around 20kgs so needs someone in his life who is prepared to have a larger dog and all that goes will it

Jake's adoption fee is $500. He has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. He is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW.
