About Woody
Woody is a loving, smoochy young Kelpie x Labrador puppy. He has a lovely black coat and the most kind eyes!
Woody is very calm but also plenty of fun. He is happy napping where he can see or hear his human friends and has been especially gentle around his foster kids (2-15 years old). He also loves playing with the kids on their scooter/bikes and hanging out with the rest of the family.
He is a true labrador, very keen on dinner time! But he hasn't shown any possessiveness or aggression over his food. Being food motivated, Woody has quickly learned some basic skills in care, like sit and wait. He will need a family that will continue with this basic training to help him grow into a well mannered adult.
Woody enjoys a walk and his lead skills are ok. He is a little nervous, but happy to have a sniff and meet new dogs on a walk. He likes to chase the toys and run laps of the yard with his doggy pals at home.
Woody's forever home family should be prepared for extreme amounts of love and affection! He is a great companion, happy to sit with you on the couch to watch a movie, go for a big walk, or chase the ball in the park. But he is also very happy to chill on his own. Woody would like a fur brother or sister, but this is not a deal breaker, cos he thinks humans are pretty good too!
If Woody, is the perfect new furry pal for your family, apply now!
Woody is located in VIC.
