About Ziggy
Introducing Ziggy!
Ziggy is a French Bulldog x Staffy born 15th July 2022.
Some of you may recognise Ziggy from a recent Freedom Buster where her owner was homeless and having someone look after her. Her owner was able to take ownership once again and we thought it was a happily ever after story. Unfortunately Ziggy's owner has once again fallen on hard times and they no longer want the responsibility of looking after her. Since Ziggy had been in at the facility previously, we knew what a sweetheart she is, so we asked them to surrender her to us. Unfortunately the owner refused to fill in a surrender profile, so we are unsure what she is like in a home environment. In saying that, Ziggy is an incredibly sweet & loving girl. She's very excitable & would love to be able to go out on adventures with her new family.
Ziggy tested very well with other dogs and she is very playful with them.
She would be suitable to live with another dog/s or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly & playful dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Ziggy is untested with cats at this time.
Ziggy seemed unfazed by pocket pets through an enclosure, however she might be too boisterous for free roaming pocket pets.
Ziggy has shown no signs of food aggression while being at the facility.
Ziggy has shown mild signs of separation anxiety while at the facility, however this is only if she can see you but not get to you. When she is left completely alone she settles quickly.
Ziggy is a very smart girl and is enjoying some training while she's at the facility. She would thrive in a home where she is included as a part of the family & where she can continue her training which she clearly enjoys.
Ziggy's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Ziggy has been treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
