About Norma
Norma!! She is everything you want in a dog plus more!!.
This sweet girl makes your heart melt. She is super sweet and just adores any bit of attention you want to offer her.
Following you around EVERYWHERE you go, I can promise you will never go to the bath room or do anything alone again.
Norma will make your best friend jealous.
This girl would be the best dog for a family with kids who love to play outdoors but then happy to just hangout and want someone there with them. Like we said above she loves the attention... She would even happily play dress ups just as long as she has someone talking to her.
Well mannered however would still need some training to get her basic every day skills down pat, training with Norma wont be hard because she just wants to play plus she LOVES her food!
Heading out and exploring on a daily bases would be ideal as being a Kelpie Norma does have energy to burn.
While hanging out at BARC Norma Is In a play group with another dog who is also available for adoption. Norma would suit a home with another dog as she just adores them, if you don't have another dog though that's okay however she would love to be able to socialize with other dogs.
Don't miss out on the beautiful girl, you will never get another dog like her.
To book a meet and greet with Norma please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
