Hey Hey, I'm Butterball!

I've been hanging out with my friends at The Lost Dogs Home for a little while and now I'm ready to find my own place to call home.

I came into the shelter for being "too big". Don't get me wrong, I'm a BIG boy, my head has been described as a basketball with ears and I'm an athletic ball of muscle so when you see me please don't say 'Oh, he's bigger than I expected.....' That comment seems to annoy my favourite people who have already spent a long time trying to explain that I'm VERY big.

When I first meet you I explode with excitement and struggle to keep my feet on the ground but give me 5 minutes and I calm down into a total couch potato. I'm crazy focused when it comes to treat training, I literally won't take my eyes off you during a training session and the staff joke that I could be taught to backflip for treats. I'd love a home where I can be inside. I might be big but I feel the cold and hate being outside.

I don't mind other dogs so I might be okay sharing a home with another doggo my size, pending a successful meet & greet at the shelter of course.
