We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Jett sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Meet Jett, or as we love calling him, Mr. Boop! He's a cool, sensitive guy who exhibits an endearing blend of independent charm and amiable warmth. Known for jumping up to boop his head against your hand, Jett's unique way of showing affection is sure to enthral you.

Jett knows exactly when he wants attention and isn't shy about asking for it. He may even grace your lap for some pets, all while kneading biscuits to show his approval.

On occasion, you'll catch him giving your hair a gentle groom from his perch on the back of the couch, and he's generous with his daily boops. He might sneak onto the bed to sleep with his humans, but don’t dare acknowledge it—he’ll play it cool like it never happened. Jett’s got that classic teenage vibe: he loves affection, but don't make a big fuss about it!

Food, pats, and watching birds make his day, adding a little spark to his calm demeanour. Jett adores climbing his cat tree, lying in the sun and watching birds from his netted outdoor catio or through a window. His idea of a perfect day involves breakfast, a sun-soaked snooze, some bird-watching, and perhaps a boop or two.

Jett isn't too keen on being picked up or accidentally finding himself outside, prompting him to race back into the comfort of his home. His independence, combined with a hint of pretended aloofness, makes for a captivating friend who only wants your company on his own terms. He has shared his space with cats and dogs before, but he would prefer to live a life as a solo kitty soaking up all your attention.

Jett is located in Turramurra, NSW 9km north of Chatswood
