Sasha loooooves people.
She is cuddly,
She is smoochy
She is bum wiggly waggy
She is full of kisses and hugs
Sasha is a special girl as she has been with us for sometime now and she is the sweetest happiest floofaloffa, just look at that smile in the pics, how could you resist not having this girl in your life.
We have all fallen in love with her and now she's ready for you to fall in love with her. Please consider giving this beauty a loving forever home
People , Sasha seeks out anyone with two legs for a pat
Sleeping on her outdoor chair
Sleeping on the couch next to you
Her squeaky chicken
Walks
Playing with familiar dogs of similar size
Sasha is great with people and will happily say hello to anyone that'll give her a pat. She's an exceptionally cuddly girl in the evening when she'll snuggle up to watch TV. She will sit by your side all day if you work from home. She will be your right hand gal . Sasha is very good around the home. She has had brief encounters with children and has just wanted to give them sloppy kisses. Dog savvy kids only as she can get a little excited and may knock small kids over.
This beautiful girl loves nothing more than being around people and you’ll often find her sitting next to you looking up with those big brown eyes waiting for pats and affection. Sasha is a very special girl, the kind you have to meet in person to really understand how sweet and loving she is.
Sasha is an clever dog who picks up new things quickly, especially when food is involved
Sasha knowns how to sit and drop
She knows bedtime
Sit and waits for food
She is not at all destructive around the house
She will not beg for food at the table
She sleeps all night in her bed
She is not overly barky but does like to do a little excited whine when she's happy
Sasha has been practicing walking well on lead and once she gets over the excitedness of getting out for her walk she will settle down into a pretty easy amble unless it's a new place then she can sometimes go from 0- 100 if she finds something new to sniff. She will need an experienced owner to continue working with her
She's a pleasure to have around the home
Sasha is very independent and is happy to laze around outside or inside while she waits on her foster parents to come home.
While left at home she'll usually play with a Kong toy for a bit but mostly just sleeps!
She does have a comfy outdoor chair where she likes to spend most her hours sunning herself in the warm sun
Sasha is about as easy going as they get with regards to sleep and bathing.
She is happy to sleep either in a crate or just in her bed but most of all prefers the sofa!
Sometimes she'll take some encouragement to come to bed!
She didn’t love the bath but will happily put up with it if pats and treats are involved.
She has a short easy to care for coat and enjoys a good brush or scratch
Sasha is fully toilet trained and has a certain spot in the backyard she likes to toilet
Sasha looooves car trips as it usually means a trip to some of her favorite parks
She will do a little squeal of excitement when getting her lead on ready to go
She jumps into the car without any encouragement and travels well secured in the back seat. She can let out some excited chitter chatter on the way to the park. So adorable that this girl is sooo happy all the time
Sasha loves to have a game of chase around the back yard with a throw toy
She enjoys a rough and tumble with dogs she is comfortable with in the backyard her favorite game being zoomies
Sasha walks once a day to New environments she can be strong on lead so we suggest she has a couple of regular parks she visits instead of being taken to multiple new environments
We have been doing a lot of loose lead training with her so you will just need to continue our good work
Sasha having a short squishy nose is best walked in the cooler part of the day as she does get hot quickly
The only challenge we have with Sasha is that she came to us with lead reactivity and hyperarousal around unknown dogs, so we engaged a trainer in to assist us to improve this behavior, and we as a rescue have done most of the hard work for you. We have spent months with daily training and developing her social skills. We know prior to coming to us, Sasha was running around with other pound dogs playing and jumping all over her so we knew she could be social. Assessed by a trainer we knew once she met a dog after slow introductions she was quite happy to be in their presence and happy to play or ignore them. She has been around alot of dogs now and we have worked out exactly how to introduce her to other dogs and she is doing extremely well. If successful in adopting Sasha you will be given her training plan and we will be spending time with you showing you exactly how to handle her. Really once we show you how to introduce her to dogs she is great. You do need to be experienced with strong breeds and preferably have experience with lead reactivity. Sasha, we have found is best suited to being walked in open areas not streets as she is much more comfortable in these areas and to have a few favorite walking places instead of being overwhelmed in multiple places
Sasha has spent time off lead with a carers dogs of similar size and has just wanted to play and join in with zoomies but we do feel she is best suited to being an only dog as we feel she with thrive best in this environment
