ABOUT EMBER:

Ember is our little miracle kitten.

She had an unbelievably difficult start to life and there were many times when we thought she would not pull through, but this resilient little lady beat all of the odds.

Despite everything she had to endure throughout her early kittenhood, Ember is nothing but an absolute sweetheart. We would definitely understand if she associated humans with scary and sometimes painful things like baths, fluid injections, and awful-tasting medicines, but that's not the case. She loves people, and she tells them this with her beautiful purrs, her head-boops, and her tiny squeak of a meow.

Ember is a cuddly girl, but she is also very silly and playful. She can hold her own with the most rambunctious of our kittens, but when left to her own devices she usually opts for a more subdued form of playing. She loves chasing ping pong balls and wrestling with stuffed animals.

Ember gets along beautifully with her siblings and she would love to be adopted along with one of them. She would be the ideal kitten to balance out a more hyperactive cat to bring the perfect balance of order and chaos to your home.

All of the hardships that Ember faced in her early kittenhood did leave their mark in one small but significant way: Ember is blind in one eye. This does not bother her at all, though, and it certainly does not slow her down. She wears it like a badge of honour; it is a true testament to all that she has been through and all that she has become.

Putting Ember up for adoption is truly a milestone that brings tears of joy to our eyes. She is the reason we do what we do, and we love her so much.

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE:
Due to the nation-wide vaccination shortage, these kittens are not vaccinated.
As part of the adoption package, you will be given a voucher for a free vaccination (through Westside Community Desexing Clinic).
You must vaccinate your kitten(s) when the supply is replenished, and provide proof of this vaccination before the microchip(s) will be transferred into your name. If you choose to use your own vet rather than the clinic, that is ok, but you will do so at your own expense.
