About Nala - Located in Pakenham
š¾ Hello there, fabulous humans! I'm Nala, the queen of charm and the seeker of cozy warm homes! Let me whisk you away on a magical tale of rescue and love. My sister Ellie and I emerged from the depths of a cold, dark drain, and now we're on a quest to find the purr-fect forever home where warmth and love abound.
First things first, let's talk about one of my absolute favorite things ā FOOD! I must admit, I'm a bit of a foodie aficionado. I take my dining experiences very seriously, and I'm not afraid to let you know when it's time for dinner.
Speaking of charm, I absolutely adore hanging out and playing with my human companions. Whether it's a game of feather chase or a cozy cuddle on the couch, count me in! Oh, and did I mention that I have experience in being a fantastic co-pilot during your daily activities? Yes, that's right! I'll be there, by your side, ready for any adventure you throw my way.
Now, let's talk about my social circle. I'm a cool cat who enjoys the company of other cats and dogs. I'd love to have a furry friend to keep me company during the day. Double the fun, right? And if you're looking for a dynamic duo, my sister Ellie and I could bring a bundle of joy and laughter to your home.
So, dear humans, if you're seeking a fun-loving, foodie feline companion who will fill your days with love, laughter, and the occasional meow for dinner, look no further! I'm Nala, ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime with you. Let's make memories and share the warmth of a forever home together! š¾š

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the motherās antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
