About Marseille
Meet the magnificent Marseille!
This gorgeous little ball of fluff is the best friend you could ask for. Marseille is his person’s shadow, following his foster carer around and attentively watching whatever they are up to. He is very loving and affection puppy who will happily curl up in your lap or snooze curled up next to you. And if you are not around, he will often curl up in, or with, an item of your clothing. Marseille is a playful pup who loves to do zoomies around the yard and play with toys. His foster carer says he is just a dream puppy who is bound to make his new owners very happy.
Marseille spent the first 5 months of his life growing up with his siblings and was well cared for. He moved into foster care and has been living with an older medium sized dog who has been showing him the ropes. Marseille loves other dogs, and his ideal home will have another friendly adult dog. His new owners should continue to socialise him with other dogs and allow him to have playtime with other friendly dogs. Marseille may be small, but he will need daily exercise throughout his life to keep him happy and healthy – he isn’t going to be suitable to be an elderly person’s lapdog. Continued exposure to new environments and places with some encouragement and praise will help this little boy continue to grow and build confidence. This will allow him to truly blossom and become a confident and well-adjusted little dog.
While in foster care, Marseille has been progressing in leaps and bounds with his training. He has learnt to walk nicely on the lead and will sit for a treat. Give him a treat and he will try to learn anything new you would like to teach him. Marseille is still young and has more to learn so his new owners should be willing to continue his training. At home, he is settled when left with his doggy pal and his carers go out. He is getting better with his toilet training and responding to commands to toilet outside, but this will need to be reinforced in his new home. Marseille travels well in the car and enjoys going on adventures to places like the beach where he can run around and stretch his legs. He never goes far away from his carers side and would love to join his owners on outings in his new home.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Marseille where he will be a part of the family and included in the day to day activities. He will do best in a home with another adult dog who is already trained up and can be a good role model. Marseille is a true little companion dog who loves to have his people around so we will be looking for a home where someone is home more often than not and most of the time if there is no other dog in the home. He should be allowed inside to home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Currently, he is crate trained and sleeps there without a peep overnight, but we are sure he would love to sleep on the bed with his person.
Marseille would be suitable to live with older dog savvy children and other types of pets with the appropriate introductions and guidance. He will require daily brushing and regular grooming to keep him looking his best. Currently, he enjoys a nice brush at home and is booked in for his first professional groom. We are sure he is going to just look stunning! This wonderful little boy will be a great addition to his new home and make his new owners very happy indeed.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
