About Moose - Located in Preston
Well, hello there, fine folks! I'm Moose, and no, I'm not as big as a moose in stature, but let me tell you, my heart is moose-sized and ready to spread love far and wide. Picture this: I'm a sweet, sensitive boy with a story to tell and a sense of humor that matches my heart size.
So, here's the scoop – I had a bit of a rough start in life, thanks to my umbilical cord playing an unwanted game of footsie. Long story short, I was the proud owner of a stumpbut now i only have 3 legs. Just call me the bionic kitten. And guess what? It hasn't slowed me down one bit – if anything, I've become the Usain Bolt of the feline world.
I'm a lover, not a fighter, and I adore people, other cats, and hey, maybe even a dog if they're cool. I'm all about making friends and spreading good vibes, three legs and all. Now, what I'm really hankering for is a home with another kitten friend. Why, you ask? Well, a three-legged cat like me needs a wrestling buddy, of course! Who said I can't do acrobatic moves with a little less leg? Not me!
I'm versatile, folks. You want me to be the apple of your eye? Done. You prefer to call me Lieutenant Dan? Sure thing. I'm here for whatever role suits your fancy.
So, if you're in the market for a hilarious, lovable, and bionic kitten extraordinaire, look no further. Moose is the name, and I'm here to steal your heart, make you laugh, and prove that three legs are just as good as four. Let the epic adventures with the bionic wonder commence!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
