About Inigo - Located in Preston
"Hello My name is Inigo...prepared to be smooched"
Hi there, potential friend! I'm Inigo, a sweet and playful boy who's still figuring out this whole "cat" thing. Yep, you heard that right—I'm still learning the ropes, but I promise I'm making progress every day!
Now, I'll admit, I can be a bit shy around people at first. But you know what brings me out of my shell? Toys! Feathers, balls, you name it—I'm all about the playtime fun. And if you happen to have a friendly resident young cat who can show me the ropes and teach me that people aren't so scary, well, that would be purr-fect!
Speaking of perfect, let's talk about food. I'm a bit of a foodie, you see, and I have dreams of becoming a sous chef one day. Imagine me, whipping up gourmet meals with my tiny paws—it's a dream come true!
Now, when it comes to cuddles, I have my preferences. I'm not a huge fan of being picked up, but if you catch me curled up on the cat tree or feeling brave on the couch, I might just allow you to give me a gentle pat. It's all about trust, you know?
Ultimately, I'm looking for a quieter home where I can find my footing and learn to be the best "people cat" I can be. With patience and unconditional love, I know I can thrive and become the confident kitty I was always meant to be.
So, if you're ready to open your heart to a sweet boy who's still discovering his place in the world, swipe right on Inigo. Together, we'll navigate this adventure called life, one playful moment at a time. 🐾❤️

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
