About Dodger
If you are interested in Dodger, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Meet Dodger, an incredibly adaptable and affectionate canine. Dodger, with his laid-back and gentle demeanor, is a remarkable companion to both medium sized dogs and humans. A rather easy-going fellow.
Dodger can comfortably settle into a home of any size, be it an apartment or a house with plenty of space. His happy-go-lucky attitude goes hand in hand with his love for snoozing in whichever room you're in, especially if it's air-conditioned, as our fluffy friend can get a bit warm. Although he enjoys the company of another dog (he adores his current foster greyhound sister), Dodger wouldn't mind being the sole recipient of your attention and affection. Left alone for a reasonable amount of time, Dodger shows the utmost maturity and patience, and has shown no issues when paired with another dog.
Dodger's gentle disposition extends to all the people he meets, suggesting he would fit perfectly in a home with older kids. He's a bit sensitive to loud noises, so a calm and serene environment would best suit him. He is fairly easy to control on a leash, takes an interest in birds and cats, and is comfortable around other medium sized dogs. Dodger prefers shorter walks due to his thick, black coat and is usually walked early or late when it's cooler.
Dodger's perfect day involves a short morning walk, a day spent lazing around, and a cool evening stroll before settling down for some snuggling time. He is good at controlling his urges and knows to do his business outside, though occasionally he confuses the indoor plants with the outside greenery, but without them he is fine.
Overall, the affectionate Dodger is pretty relaxed and loves cuddles and food (not necessarily in that order). He is excited about widening his horizon of love by being a part of his new family. If you're looking for a gentle companion that would bring lots of warmth and love, Dodger is ready for you!
