About Libby
This busy little girl was surrendered into our care following a tough year for her.
This is her back story…..for the first 8-9 years of her life she lived indoors with her elderly owner. The owner became terminally ill, and a friend offered to take Libby when the time came. This she did BUT, she never wanted an inside dog and in fact didn’t even like her!!
So after a short time spent living in the yard (and hating it) Libby was passed along to another elderly lady, where she lived happily until the lady went into care and the family surrendered her to us.
On her arrival it was noted that her face was swollen and painful to the touch, so an immediate vet consultation arranged.
Libby was found to have extensive dental disease and after a blood test came back normal, she had every tooth removed. The poor little girl had been suffering for a very long time.
Once Libby recovered from her dental, she has proved that she absolutely loves life!! She is a delightful, busy, sparky and sprightly girl.
She loves her human and wants to be near her, joining in with whatever the daily activity is. Whether it be going out for a daily walk on leash, “helping” to peg out washing, going to town in the car for coffee with friends, sunbathing on the deck, eating, or snuggling on a lap in the evening - she’s up for it all!
Libby gets on well with the other small dogs in care at my house, but doesn’t need another dog to be happy. She is very human oriented.
She is not used to men in her life, and does take a while to warm up to them.
All her vet work is done and she is ready to find her forever home.
Please note our location is Moree, northern NSW. You will need to drive to collect her if you are the successful adopter.
When you enquire, make sure you include the following:-
1) Are you willing and able to drive to Moree?
2) Is everyone in your household happy and ready to adopt Libby?
3) How long would she be alone during the day if at all?
