šš± INTRODUCING HATTIE š±š
Hailing from the wild streets of suburban Perth, Hattie is not your average feline contender. This fearless warrior has scaled the highest of security fences and plunged into the deepest of skip bins, fighting to survive the fast-food alleyways. Now sheās embarking on her greatest quest ever ā to win over a hooman!
Nature
Hattie came into care over two years ago with an attitude befitting the streets. Over time, she has gone from hiding in the cat run, to hiding in the front room, to hiding in the dining room, to lounging at the top of the cat tower in full view of her Foster Mum in the main room. While sheās still a force to be reckoned with, sheās showing all the signs of a girl who is ready for the warmth of a loving home.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Hattie lives with lots of cats and a big doggo. She doesnāt mind the other cats, but she tends to nap nearby them rather than with them. She keeps a distance from the dastardly doggo. She would be fine with other fur-friends, provided sheās given a slow intro.
Mostly, Hattie needs a home where sheās surrounded by patient hoomans who understand the art of transformation. A quiet and calm environment would be her ideal battleground as she navigates the ropes of domestic life.
Likes / Dislikes
Hattie has a hankering for Dine Creamy Treats and her Foster Mum can get very close to her when sheās being fed this snack. While Hattie can be tamed momentarily by her favourite treat, she is still quite scared of hoomans, so she might offer a warning with a hiss, growl, or sneak attack to the knuckles. Sheāll need a small space initially to help her feel safe and where she canāt hide while sheās getting to know her new training partner.
My PURR-fect home would be with a hooman who has unconditional, unflappable patience and kindness to help me transform from wild warrior into a champion of love.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
