About Reid
Dogs just don’t get much better than Reid. This boy is a winner in every way. He is such an affectionate and sweet natured dog. Reid likes nothing more than to curl up on the couch with his foster family for snuggle time and he loves head scratches. He even tries to be a lapdog for some cuddles if you let him! Reid is a playful boy who loves his toys, particularly his chew toys. Reid is a gentle boy who is naturally submissive, but he always wants to make friends and he shows it by wiggling his stumpy tail as much as he can! He has an inquisitive nature and enjoys going on bushwalks with his foster family where he can sniff all the interesting things.
Reid is very dog social and enjoys the company of other dogs. He is currently living with another dog who he enjoys running around with. They also enjoy playing tug of war with toys. Reid would love to regularly socialise with friends or family dogs. He is a medium sized dog who currently weighs 19kg. Reid is moderately active and will need daily exercise in his new home and some playtime.
While in foster care, Reid has shown what a good boy he is. He can already sit, drop and walks nicely on the lead. Reid is toilet trained and has relatively good manners in the house. He has been learning not to jump up when saying hello to new people and progressing well. Reid travels fine in the car after some initial nervousness. At his foster home, he has shown us that he is also good with cats and chickens.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Reid who will include him as part of the family. He would love a home with another adult friendly dog who is already fully trained and can be a great role model and companion for Reid. He would also be able to live as an only dog but would like someone home more often than not just so he has the pleasure of someone’s company. Reid should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He would be fine to live with older dog savvy children and would love to be included in fun activities like bushwalking with the family.
If you would like to make this beautiful boy a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle that Reid would have with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
