I’m still that sweet, gentle girl you’ve heard about… just with a little more confidence growing every day. At first, I might hang back and quietly take everything in. The world can feel a little scary to me, especially unfamiliar places and new people. But if you give me time, patience, and understanding, you’ll see my loving, playful personality begin to shine ✨
I won't lie — I need quite a bit of time to settle in. Life hasn't always been kind to me. Humans were very cruel to me before I was rescued, and some of those memories still linger. Things like cat carriers create immense fear for me, and I can be cautious when faced with change. But despite everything I've been through, my heart is still full of love.
I truly thrive in a calm, peaceful home where I feel safe and secure. Busy households aren't really my thing. I would be happiest as your one and only feline princess, but I could also happily share my home with a calm, gentle male kitty who respects my space, or even a laid-back dog. Slow introductions are important so everyone can settle in comfortably 🐾💙

I love being near my humans and being part of everyday life. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, pottering around the house, working from home, or simply enjoying some quiet time, I'll be right there beside you. In fact, once I love you, I take my role very seriously. I'll become your loyal companion, your supervisor, and your protector.
Now, I do sound a little grumpy when I talk 😹 That's just Kimmy being Kimmy. I'm a bit of a sassy pants and I have some very strong opinions about things! I wear my worries on the outside, but underneath all that sass is a gentle girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved.
And when I trust you? Oh, I absolutely adore affection. Chin scratches, gentle pats, curling up beside you, and sharing quiet moments together are some of my favourite things. My purr starts rumbling pretty quickly these days — it's my way of saying, "I feel happy here." 💕
I still love to play too! Wand toys, little balls, and bird watching from the window keep me entertained 🐦. And when playtime is over, you'll find me searching for the cosiest nap spot in the house.
The hardest part is that I've been waiting for almost three years.
Three years of watching other cats leave for their forever homes while I stay behind hoping someone will choose me. Sometimes I wonder if people see my fears before they see my heart. The truth is, all I need is someone willing to look past my cautious beginning and give me the time I need to feel safe.
Because the person who does will be rewarded with the most devoted, loving companion they could ever ask for.
A quiet home. A patient human. A safe place to finally belong.
That's all I've ever wanted.
