🐾💔 Hi, I’m Kimmy… and I’m still waiting. 💔🐾
Almost three and a half years.
Three and a half years of watching other cats find their people… while I keep waiting for someone to see me. 😿
I’m a gentle girl with a soft heart, but I’m also a little afraid of the world. I’ve learned that new places, unfamiliar people and things like cat carriers can be very scary.
You see, humans weren’t always kind to me. 💔
Some of the things I experienced before I was rescued still live quietly inside me.
So I need time.
I need patience.
I need someone who won’t give up when I hide.
Someone who will let me come to them when I’m ready.
And when I do… something beautiful happens. 💕
The frightened girl slowly disappears, and you begin to see the real Kimmy.
The girl who follows her human around the house.
The girl who wants to be beside you while you work or relax.
The girl who loves chin scratches, gentle pats and quiet cuddles.
The girl whose purr now comes much more easily because she is finally learning that she is safe. 🥹💗
I’m a little sassy too 😹
I have opinions. BIG opinions. And yes, I can sound a little grumpy when I talk!
But underneath my sass is simply a girl who has been hurt and is still learning to trust.
I would love a peaceful home where I can finally exhale.
Ideally, I’d be your one and only feline princess, although I could potentially share my home with a calm, gentle male cat or laid-back dog with the right introduction. 🐾
I don’t need a perfect human.
I just need my human.
Someone who looks past my fear and sees my heart.
Because I have so much love waiting to be given. 💔❤️
After almost three and a half years, I’m still hoping that somewhere out there is the person who will finally say:
“Kimmy, you’re the one. I’m not giving up on you.”
Could that person be you? 🥺💖
