If you love your Dachshunds then get excited! And don't worry; this gorgeous, smoochy, cuddle bug of a sausage is definitely more frankfurter than Frankenstein. Franky is a lovely boy who walks well on lead, travels well in the car and is toilet trained: he used the doggy door immediately in his foster home without being shown. Franky is definitely a companion dog and craves lots of human affection and attention. He loves to chill with you as you watch TV or read, sitting on top of the couch where he can view his world.

He loves playing and is especially obsessed with water, so sprinkler games are a must! He also enjoys playing fetch with a ball.

Franky would be happiest in a home with someone home more often than not, and with active family members who would exercise him daily and also take him out on dates: to the coffee shop, to lunch, sundowner dates, and maybe even to supper! As long as he is with his people, he is happy. Although he barks at new people and other dogs initially when he is out, with gentle correction he settles quickly.

Franky does hate getting his claws clipped so he will most likely need a caring groomer or vet to undertake this. He also requires a chicken-free diet as his skin reacts to chicken (fish based is what he is currently on).

Franky is just the most lovable boy and a superb allrounder who would be a fantastic addition to the lucky family who adopts him.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
