Dolly

Hi my name is Dolly! My previous owner has just passed away so I’m looking to find me a new home. This has been a bit confusing and upsetting.

I'm a Shitzu x Sydney Silkie (Aus terrier), so I'm not only cute to look at but I'm also pretty clever. I eat well, I walk well on lead, I don't mind a bath! Also I don’t shed!

I bark a bit when someone comes or when it's time for a walk because I do LOVE to go for a walk. I am great off lead and come back when you call! I love the praise when I do that!

I’d love it if you were home the majority of the time so working from home or a retired house will suit me best!
I love human cuddles. Like loooooove them. I’ll climb up on you and hug you like I’m a furry human into your neck. I'm good in the car.

My needs are simple — I need a human or two who can be with me every day, I need routine and especially a daily walks, I need food and love and boundaries and encouragement, regular grooming. I am prone to weight gain so need someone who won’t spoil me with treats!
I’m fine with other dogs.
I have some dominance issues, nothing nasty, but they can be sorted if you help to set boundaries for me. I just need time to gain my confidence that you do indeed love me.
I may even learn to play with other dogs given time! As yet I’ve been an only dog.

I’m good with kids too! Like to say hi and give them lil kisses.
Men scare me a bit but that’s just because I haven’t been around many. With time I’ll learn to trust.
