Minty is a gentle, yet fun-loving cream Cavoodle (Cavalier x Toy Poodle) girl who would love to find a family where she can truly belong. Minty has not had much experience in a family setting (aside from foster care).. however, with patience, kindness and affection she would continue to make inroads and we have no doubt she'll be a fun, loving, loyal companion.

Minty is a small dog (approx 8kg) and is robust enough to get along superbly with dogs of all sizes. While she has wonderful tolerance for children, not snappy at all- she can get a little frightened by rambunctious small children and for this reason, we would recommend a family with children over 5 years. Although not tested, we are confident she wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks or pocket pets.

Minty has spent the majority of her life raising litters of puppies and as a result has not had a great deal of time on the lead and is currently learning with her foster carer. While she is playful and would love a regular walk- her exercise requirements aren't intensive as Minty is as equally happy following you around the house and garden as say resting on her dog bed/the couch instead. In her previous life, Minty didn't have the opportunity to play with dog toys, so this experience is new to her.

Minty's toileting has been reliable inside and she sleeps in an indoor/outdoor sunroom with pet flap without making a mess. She is also very happy sleeping in a crate at night and we'd recommend this in her new home too. This will help her settle into her new home and also provide you with a sense of security, knowing exactly where your pet is during the night until you both have a thorough understanding of each other.

Being a poodle cross, she would need clipping/grooming in the warmer months to keep her comfortable. There is no need to keep her 'show presentable' unless this is your preference. She's very low/to no shedding too.

This sweet, gentle girl would be a well-suited new addition to a family that can provide her with the love and attention she craves along with some commitment to continuing her training (not obedience training, just slotting into your routine).
She is currently housed in Tamworth, NSW, and she's eagerly awaiting her chance to join a new family.
