Meet Zyla,

Brought to the shelter as a stray, wearing a collar and microchipped, but with no owners coming forward, Miss Zyla is sad to be finding her new forever home, but excited at the idea of meeting a lovely person or two who will be her new best friends.

The easiest words to describe Zyla is sweet, affectionate, quiet and calm. She is understandably shy in the shelter and spends most of her time in the safety of her hidey bed; she is more than happy for people to come meet her in her own space, she will greet you with a sweet meow and loves having the left side of her face stroked the most. We think she would be perfectly suited to a single person or an older couple who are looking for a more relaxed cat; she is likely to settle and really bond to one or two people and would like a quieter sort of life. She's been uninterested in meeting the other animals in the shelter, and could live with children, but would prefer not to.
