About Charlie & Lola
Introducing Charlie & Lola!
Charlie is a French Bulldog born 5th September 2018.
Lola is a Pug x Jack Russell born 1st November 2018.
Unfortunately Charlie & Lola's owner passed away several months ago and as much as their family wanted to keep them, their circumstances became dire and they were left with no option but to surrender them for rehoming. Both dogs were very loved members of the family and the family was heartbroken they weren't in a position to continue their care.
Their surrender profile states; they were kept indoors & outdoors, they are not fully house trained, they're outgoing and confident, travel well in the car, they're both friendly with children & adult strangers and they can be left home alone without problems.
Lola & Charlie tested well with other dogs but Charlie is very protective of her, so he can be quite dominant with other dogs. We are taking their owners recommendation in saying they prefer to be the only spoilt "children" at home.
Charlie & Lola were unfazed by cats when we did their testing through an enclosure, however, once again we are taking their owners recommendation of a home with no cats.
Both Lola & Charlie are untested with pocket pets at this time.
Lola & Charlie have shown no signs of separation anxiety while being at the facility as long as they're kept together. If they are separated from each other they do have anxiety but as long as they are kept together they are happy.
We have found it is best to feed Charlie & Lola separately as Charlie does try to steal Lola's food once he's finished eating. They were fine when tested with humans and their food.
Charlie & Lola would thrive in a home where they are included as a part of the family.
Their adoption fee is $600 and includes their desexing and lifetime registration.
They have both been treated for flea and worms and are up to date with their vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
