Hello my friends! I'm Storm and I'm a part of the Spring litter! My mum, Meadow was found hanging around a lady's house, very malnourished and skinny. Mum had my siblings and I in the lady's garden! SCA picked us all up, and although Mum had a microchip, her previous owners no longer wanted her and had given her away to an unknown person. With no one coming forward to claim her (or us tiny kittens!), thankfully SCA looked after us all so we could have the best start to life.
I would seriously be the most affectionate little companion for the lucky human who takes me home! 😍 I'm super snuggly and would love to spend every moment by your side. Time with my people truly is my bread and butter! My foster mum told me to let you know that I need LOTS of playtime, especially before bed – unless you'd like to join me for my 2am zoomies! 😉 My favourite toy is the string teaser/ flirt pole.
Other kitties at home? More cuddle companions for me! I love spending time with other cats, whether it is finding a warm spot to nap with them or playing alongside them.
Does my new home also have a dog? All good! When I have been fostered in a home alongside some very polite canines, and I've learned we can get along together. So if you've got a respectful doggo at home, I'm sure we'll all coexist wonderfully.
And to make sure your existing fur babies and I have the best possible start to our new life together, you'll get a nifty email from SCA Qld with resources for introducing me to my new fur sibling/s.
I'm a big fan of dinner time as I really enjoy my food! So much, that my foster mum has to supervise meal times... spoil sport! My litter tray usage is very good too, as I learned the art of the 'poop box' from a young age. I really am a good boy! 🥰
As for all the rest, I have seen the vet, passed all my health checks, been desexed and microchipped, and now I'm ready for adoption!

Medical notes
Due to the national vaccine shortage, I have not yet been vaccinated against the core kitty diseases. SCA will arrange for my vaccinations to be completed at one of their vet partners when supplies are received back into the country. This is expected to be mid-April 2024.
My mum tested negative for FIV/FeLV and I have been an inside only kitty since. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.
All of our cats will be sent to their furever homes fully vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, parasite free and ready to become part of your family!
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS - when applying to adopt our cats, we expect that they will be kept as indoor cats only and/or have a suitable outdoor enclosure.
