About Skye
Say hello to Skye, a striking beauty of a dog with one mesmerizing blue eye and one enchanting brown eye. Skye is a fascinating blend of mystery and calmness, her unique eye color making her stand out in the crowd and her quiet mannerisms capturing the hearts of anyone she encounters.
Skye behaves wonderfully on the lead and collar during walks and adores being in human company. She answers to her call most of the time but may take her time occasionally as she likes to explore her surroundings. Skye has been excellent around other dogs, and she doesn't shy away from cats either. She is a very calm dog with the charm of modesty.
Falling into routine quickly, Skye is tidy and maintains excellent hygiene in her kennels. Her gentle nature also extends toward taking treats–she approaches slowly, gently retrieving treats from your hand. Skye is fond of pats, and her tail wags will let you know how happy she is to be petted.
Although a profoundly peaceful dog, Skye can sometimes be a little timid and submissive. She tends to lay on her back during interaction to show you that she's comfortable with you. She will benefit from being in a home with a calm dog friend, as interacting with other dogs brings out a more playful side of her. Skye thrives in a secure and calm environment and appreciates those relaxed moments that gently build her confidence.
In summary, Skye is a delicate beauty who is looking for a relaxed new family that will provide her with the security, companionship, and love she deserves. She's a quiet, respectful companion and would make a fantastic addition to any family. Skye is ready to spread her love to the hearts of all she meets.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
