About Tilly
TILLY is looking for her forever home
Tilly is a 6 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
An ex breeder who spent 6 years of her life in a cage without any human contact or exposure to our domesticated world, but that life is now far behind her.
TILLY came to us quite shy but her Foster family have shown her that humans can also be kind.
Tilly is currently living with 2 beautiful very Calm & Chilled Male Golden retrievers who have helped her with her confidence, she is naturally curious, who loves to explore, whether it's climbing a pile of tan bark or investigating any nook and cranny inside and outside the house
TILLY had never worn a collar or walked on a leash before coming into our care, so as expected she is hesitant walking on lead, but will follow another dog, (treats will work, as she is food motivated) but with time she will become more confident and enjoy exploring the great outdoors with you. She wonders confidently around the house or garden on her own.
Her foster family have seen her evolve from being frightened and hesitant about her surroundings to being happy to be included in whatever is happening in the household.
She is toilet trained but will require reminders to go outside before bed and first thing in the morning.
She will follow another dog outside if that's their toilet routine or you would have to go outside with her until she is confident with her own routine.
Tilly doesn't exhibit any destructive qualities and has a content nature, she loves naps during the day and has started looking for cuddles and is seeking pats and affection which is a pleasure to see.
She would suit a family that is home most of the time and will settle well with another dog in the family who she can continue to model good doggy behaviour.
