About Muffin
Are you searching for your 'other half'? Are you looking for your ‘shadow’?
Perhaps a beautiful Cocker Spaniel who will follow you everywhere you go?
Muffin is a sweetheart - she is looking for a life full of love and cuddles.
Muffin is 6 years and 2 months old and has come into care as a ex-breeding girl who has come into care to have all her vet work completed and find her forever family.
Muffin can be shy when meeting new people or a new environment but once she is comfy she will take all the cuddles and attention you want to give her - Muffin loves to snuggle with her human and just be
Muffin is a easy going girl to have around - she is dog friendly but not really wanting to live in a home with a puppy or a annoying dog (in her face and doesn't leave her alone) - Muffin has retired and now would like to spend her days just living with her humans and getting the love.
Muffin is 11.1kgs (we think most the weight is in the fur!)
Muffin is most happy when being near her humans – they can be working, reading, folding the washing and he is happy to just be near – either watching or snoozing.
Muffin is not tested with cats
Muffin is house trained.
Muffin is only now just learning to walk on a lead but with time, patience and training she will do fine
Muffin has been good with the kids who have come to visit however as she can still be nervous we feel a home with older or no kids would be better for her
Muffin’s idea home would be with people who were home more often than not and could very much incorporate her into their daily life.
Muffin has a typical Cocker Spaniel coat and does require regular grooming and brushing - especially the ears!
So if you think Muffin sound like your type of fur friend please send in an application to the rescue!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
