About Marley
Marley is the ultimate cuddle-loving cutie pie and as you'd expect from a purebred toy poodle (approx 5kg); he's friendly, quiet and very gentle natured.
This petite chocolate coloured chap gets along superbly with dogs of all sizes and while he has wonderful tolerance for children- he can get a little frightened by rambunctious small children and for this reason, we would recommend a family with children over 5 years. Although not tested, we are confident he wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks or pocket pets.
Marley has lived on acreage for the majority of his life and as a result has not had a great deal of time on the lead, so he would need further training in this area. But we have no doubt that he'd catch on quickly! His exercise requirements are small as he'd much prefer to follow you around the house and garden or rest on his dog bed/the couch instead. Marley also loves playing with his dog toys.
He came to us a failed stud dog due to having only one testicle, which of course, has no impact on his abilities to be the most loving and gentle pet. He has now had both testicles removed during desexing (the undescended one was removed via surgery).
Marley's toileting has been reliable inside and he sleeps in an indoor/outdoor sunroom with pet flap without making a mess. He is also very happy sleeping in a crate at night.
Being a poodle he would need clipping/grooming in the warmer months to keep him comfortable.
This sweet, gentle fellow would be a well-suited new addition to a family that can provide him with the love, attention and cuddles he enjoys so much. He is currently housed in Tamworth, NSW, and he's eagerly awaiting his chance to join a new family.
If you can offer Marley a kind and loving home please send an enquiry through via PetRescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
Medical notes
Marley is a very healthy chap and has no medical issues to report. As a puppy he did have an undecended testicle (Cryptorchidism), but this has absolutely NO implication on his ongoing health or his ability to be a pet.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Marley.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
