About Bailey - 7 Month Old Maremma (Trial)
Bailey is a 7 month old male Maremma.
Bailey came into care at around 5 months old.
He has come so far in learning how to trust people and experience what gentle love is.
He adores playing with other dogs, he will run and play all day with all his puppy energy.
He loves playing with toys, he has learnt manners including sit and stay, he is also really good on leash.
Bailey would best suit a home with another dog, he loves his attention and doesn't like to be alone too much so will thrive with a brother or sister fur sibling.
He is the sweetest boy who is always up for pats or cuddles and has so much love to give.
He can be a bit shy around new people until he knows he is safe.
He will need someone willing to spend more time with him than not and he loves going for walks and putting his toes in the water, he would suit a large yard or property.
He hasn't had a lot of exposure to children no fault of his own so a home with older teenagers might suit him better. He was good meeting a baby and 2 children under 4.
He lives with 2 big dogs, a cat and a bird and loves them all the same even when the cat is sassy to him, he always just wants them to play with him.
He is a very very sweet soul who will need someone that can have lots of patience and give him lots and lots of love and attention.
Bailey Overview:
· Dog and cat friendly.
· Ongoing training required but learning more everyday.
· New home will need to have a fur brother or sister.
· Loves big walks.
· Introduce children slowly.
Bailey's adoption fee is $700. Bailey is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 12 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
