About Goldfish
** IN FOSTER CARE IN WOLLI CREEK**
Goldfish is a truly lovely girl, she's not only got a very sweet personality, she also happens to be a total stunner. One look into those bright green eyes and you'll be hooked on Goldfish!
Arriving into care in a pretty poorly state, Goldfish was quick to forget her past and focus on her future which she believes should be full of snacks, smooches and running a muck. She is playful, inquisitive and isn't afraid to let you know her opinion and anyone who knows staffies knows they have a few ;)
Her confidence grows by the day and her leash skills are improving, she is crate trained and going well with housetraining probably because she's so clever (no bias)! Goldfish currently lives with dogs big and small and gets on with all of them and if she keeps on the same trajectory she's on, she'll take over the world.
MY IDEAL HOME: Goldfish would best suit a home on the chilled side, whilst she does LOVE a good rumble and adventure, she can be spooked by too much action and loud noises. She is likely best with someone who has a bit of dog experience who can continue to open up her world and show her how much fun it can be. A family committed to ongoing training is essential so she can show everyone just how awesome Bully Breeds can be!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Goldfish like most puppies snoozes a lot however it is safe to assume as she grows, she will need a good daily adventure and enrichment opportunities. Whilst she won't have the energy of a kelpie or a malinois, she will be a fairly active girl who needs an active family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Goldfish has met children and does okay around them but due to her sometimes shy nature, kids 10 and up would be best. She also is prone to some puppy chomping.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Goldfish currently lives in a house with dogs big and small and gets along with all of them, she can play very rough and is best with a dog that has a bit of chill so play doesn't become too much. She has met cats and is a bit excited about them but with some clever management and a peaceful intro we can't see an issue with her sharing a home with a cat.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
