About Hinkley
💙🩷 Available for Adoption! 💙🩷
Ever heard of hybrid vigour? (aka heterozygosity.) Long story short, if mean LOTS OF VARIATION in the gene pool! We could have a guessing competition about the origins of Hinkley's litter. Corgi? Kelpie? Cattle Dog?
How does Hinkley stay cool on a hot day❓
Ear conditioning! 😂😂😂
This little dude has two fantabulous ear conditioning units, and he’s available to adopt now!
Thanks to Hinkley's wonderful foster carer, he is ready for adoption.
Here is what Hinkley's foster carer has to say about this gorgeous young man:
Hinkley, aka the Professor, aka 'Hinkers' is the most adorable snuggle monster (currently sitting on my lap whilst I write this). He's so gentle and will happily rest on your shoulders and nestle in your neck (whilst he still fits).
He's a bright little spark who is quick to learn and will have every human in his household wrapped round his little finger in no time. He knows how to sit and wait and is still learning toileting, though he's getting the hang of it. Hinkley understands 'no' and 'uh-uh' and will stop any mischief when he hears those words.
Hinkley loves to play tug-of-war of war and loves his toys. He's shown interest in playing fetch with a ball and will amuse himself and others for hours. He loves being in the house and also exploring the garden. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night.
Hinkley's currently in foster care with 2 resident dogs (one old and one young). He loves to snuggle and sleep with the older dog and play with the younger one. He's also been exposed to other extended family dogs and gets on with them all. There are also 3 resident cats. Hinkley is curiously excited when he sees them and likes to have a chat and sometimes even a bit of a game of 'tag you're it', but not aggressive. In saying this, if Hinkley were to go to a home with a resident cat, it would have to be able to stand its ground and 'tell him off' where needed.
Like all puppies, Hinkley's going through a chewing stage. We use toy substitution, which seems to work.
Hinkley would bring so much joy to a family who will love and adore him and set him up for success with structured routine and training with lots of walks and adventures. He's an absolute treasure who deserves nothing but the best.
Hinkley’s $700 adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, worming, flea and tick treatment, desexing (when old enough), microchipping and lifetime registration.
Interstate adoption is NOT available due to the need for these pups to be returned to the Central Coast for desexing. A meet and greet is also mandatory with any applicant/existing dogs/kids.
If you would like to meet Hinkley, please lodge your interest online and we will be in touch.
