Ever heard of hybrid vigour? (aka heterozygosity.) Long story short, if mean LOTS OF VARIATION in the gene pool! We could have a guessing competition about the origins of Johnathon's litter. Corgi? Kelpie? Cattle Dog?
Thanks to Johnathon's wonderful foster carer, he is ready for adoption.
Here is what Johnathon' foster carer has to say about this gorgeous young man:
Johnathon is a very playful pup, who likes to have company so someone with another dog would be great.
He’s in foster care with our dog Kevin who is a medium sized Staffy mix. He prefers Kevin’s attention to ours and follows him everywhere. He will give you a cuddle but won’t stay on your lap for long.
He will sit and wait to be told to eat and he loves his food. He loves to chase a ball but we are still working on bringing it back. We are training him on a lead walking him around the back yard and he is doing really well. He sleeps in the laundry with Kevin and is our 5am alarm clock everyday.
Like most puppies he likes to dig and loves my pot plants. He travels well in the car. He is not fully toilet trained and has the occasional accident inside.
He will be defensive at first when meeting another dog so make sure you introduce him slowly, it won’t take long for him to become friends though.
He loves a tummy and back scratch. He is very smart and very cute and will be a great family dog. He doesn't really bite and if you say ‘stop' or 'leave it' he will. He does like to bark when playing with Kev sometimes 😂
Johnathon’s $700 adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, worming, flea and tick treatment, desexing (when old enough), microchipping and lifetime registration.
Interstate adoption is NOT available due to the need for these pups to be returned to the Central Coast for desexing. A meet and greet is also mandatory with any applicant/existing dogs/kids.

Adoption details
Dogs and cats come microchipped, lifetime registration, desexed, vaccinated and with a 14 day health & trial period warranty (please note that SoCares reserves the right to conduct home and yard checks prior to adoption).
DOG ADOPTIONS: We like to make sure all dogs and their new family (human and four legged) are a suitable match so if you have other dog/s we always book a meet and greet at a time suitable for you to ensure they will get on.
