Tom

Hi friends! My name is Tom. I'm doing pretty well for a young pup. I'm rather clever - my foster mum tells me all the time I learn things really fast. So far I can sit, stay, be gentle taking treats and use my crate as my quiet space. Most of the time I come when my name is called too, unless I've found something super interesting. I would do really well in puppy training class.
I have a big foster fur brother and we love to play. I get along with other dogs very well, however as a puppy I am still learning boundaries and do tend to get over excited... this can make my listening ears hard to use.
My foster family has 5 kids aged from 11 months to 13 years, so I'm used to having a lot of people coming and going and don't tend to get to worried about the front door. I play well with all of them. I'm learning to be a little more gentle when I play with the little one but my foster mum says I'm doing really well. I do get excited sometimes and jump on the kids a bit, but I stop when they tell me to.
I love it when people play tug o' war, fetch and chasey with me. I looooove pats and cuddles.
I sleep inside in my crate at night next to my foster fur brother, I'm happy to do this and enjoy my own comfy bed with my cuddle toy rabbit. My foster mum doesn't even have to let me out for the toilet during the night, I'm fully house trained!
I think I would do well with another dog friend to guide me and keep me company. I've found if my foster fur brother is around I don't care if my people are around or not.
I'm in the midst of discovering cats, I live with 2 of them but so far I have only smelt them through doors or from either side of the crate... I have been around them a couple of times without barriers without even noticing.
And one more thing, I am sooooo cute. Everyone tells me so!
